Pride 2028s went last year; enjoyed the tournament.  No info shared on why not attending this year.  I will note that smaller roster size can make it feel unfair as full team doesn't get to go.[/quote]

I believe teams are only supposed to roster 12 players.  Its 7 v 7.  22 person team wouldn't work.

I don’t think PP was saying the roster size was the weird part, it was splitting your team and taking kids on an invite only basis that was odd. Taking who is available, knowing it is around the holidays or winter sports, and as a result less than your team attends is vastly different than creating a smaller team of the selected best players.
