I agree with the PP. Most therapy is a racket. If it helps someone feel better, great, but stop talking about it all the time. I hate the way the vocabulary pervades everything now and the over-therapized want to diagnose everyone. [/quote]

NP - you and the original PP might want to look at facts around increases in mental illness in this country and the damage it does to society if untreated.  There’s a real shortage of qualified healthcare professionals to treat people. Finding it annoying is one thing; insisting it’s unnecessary and shameful is gross.[/quote]
