The counselor has to digitally sign the ED agreement in order for your kid’s application to be accepted .  They most certainly are are aware of where your kid applied ED[/quote]

This isn't about my kid and I'm not defending the practice. I'm just saying that the counselor might not know the kid was accepted.

Schools require enrollment deposit shortly after ED acceptance.  I don’t know anyone who has broken an agreement, but they would have had to pay this and presumably forfeited it if attending a different school.[/quote]
