Can I say the quiet part out loud? I am not convinced that the mRNA technology is safe. It’s brand new and there are only 3 years of experience with it. We know it risks heart damage for young men. It’s entirely possible that repeated mRNAs could pose a heart risk for more people in the long run. We just do not know and as far as I can tell the research is not being done. We don’t even know if repeated covid vaccination actually reduces risk. There has been research in flu vaccines suggesting that repeated vaccination can actually dampen immune response.
Yea and it causes autism too! 🙄
Yup. I'll take the small risk from any vaccine over the significantly higher risk of issues from getting covid. I have a 24 yo with mild long covid. First 6-8 months after getting covid (pre vax opportunities), their heart rate would race to 180+ while sitting still. If they ran down/up a flight of stairs in the house, it would go over 200 and take 30 mins to return to a moderately reasonable rate. They went from being able to play basketball for 2+ hours to not being able to even play for 3+ months. 3+ years later, they still could not play for 2+ hours. And theirs is mild---doctors say they are fine, heart and lung scans show no damage officially. Yet it is obvious they have damaged their body irreparably . Also, the mRNA vaccines were being developed for decades, hence why we had them within a year after covid began.
