Many wife and girlfriend murderers are doing hard time in prison on less evidence than this. Sam is a murderer who has thus far gotten away with it.

Sadly,  I don’t know if Larry Krasner could brings charges against him in the absence of a change in the ME’s office position on manner of death. The parents have been trying to force that change but legally cannot, the courts have ruled. The courts indicate the belief that a murder occurred here.

Incidentally I have just been watching the excellent POV documentary series Philly DA about the election of Larry Krasner to the DAs office and the reforms he has been implementing and the corruption he has been uncovering in the Philly police, DAs office culture and in the courts system. Given the culture there which is longstanding, I have no doubt whatsoever that an influential or wealthy family could buy their kid out of a homicide investigation, but given the cases that Krasner has uncovered and shed light on, it is also well within the realm of possibility that Philly homicide ‘detectives’ just massively bungled this all on their own.[/quote]
