DC isn’t like LA, NY etc. There are not many very wealthy families with multiple homes. Even the most expensive homes in DC sell for maybe $10 million dollars versus $200 million in LA. [/quote] There are a half dozen properties listed for over $10M in DC proper. And that doesn’t include the many more that are worth well over that in McLean, Potomac, etc. Dan Snyder bought a house for $48M last year. He’s hardly the only billionaire around here.[/quote]
