+1.  It was a very special place in the early & mid 2000s.  Nashville, TN had the same vibe for many years and then lost it as well but the years of 2009-2015 will always hold a special place in my heart.[/quote]

Specially awful. Have you been to Austin recently? It’s spectacularly bad. There is nothing to do that doesn’t require being on a waitlist, weather and traffic are horrific, and the crime and homelessness is off the charts. It’s like visiting an ancient Turkish settlement in 2023 trying to imagine what once was.  [/quote]
