The AA advocates say it is very important to have a diverse group of students from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds as well as diverse SES backgrounds. Count yourself lucky that your kid is in such a rich and optimal learning environment.[/quote]

Not pp you are replying to, but NO, that is NOT at all my want regarding my children’s schooling.

I want them to learn ENGLISH, MATH, SCIENCE, GEOGRAPHY, and HISTORY well. Learn to assess and think for themselves. Learn to research, learn to explore and experiment. Learn to read, comprehend, debate, and refute.

Anything else is maybe a plus, bit not necessarily so.
