Favorites: Newfoundlands, Goldens and labs, Berners, st. Bernards. Big gentle dogs are the best! Dislikes: anything doodle (poodles are fine, just not my cup of tea). Unfortunately some bad experiences have colored my opinion of pit and pit mixes as well.
Sad that a few dogs color your opinion on so many dogs! Guilty until proven innocent, right?
Nah, for pits it's more like, assume every one is a loaded gun and handle appropriately.
Profiling isnt cool. There is no such dog as a pitbull. How do you know it is the American lit bull terrier that madethe attack and not the chow or German Sheperd in them? And dont forget these dogs are the most abused
Don’t care. They are all useless dogs.
tell me what teacup yorkies do
They don’t murder people.
Ah but we are talking about how "useful" one is. You could have said the teacup Yorkies are useful for companion. Just like pit bulls. Btw, again humans murder and yet we don't condemn every human! Here is a fair and balanced review of "pit bull" types: https://www.rover.com/blog/important-pit-bull-facts/ My pit bull mix ( also has Australian Shepherd) which can also have problems with socializations! Yes yes but, they don't MAUL anyone! But they can be problem dogs: https://www.yourpurebredpuppy.com/reviews/australianshepherds.html C https://saveabull.com/pit-bulls-workforce
These links are such obvious Pit lobby nonsense that are anything but "fair and balanced" but I just can't let the last one go. Have you ever trained protection dogs, PP? Therapy dogs? Seeing eye dogs? Search and rescue dogs? Well, I have. And while your crap little "save bulls!" link makes it seem like these are jobs these dogs can do, let me disabuse you of that notion. They are top of the list of THE shittiest breed you can use as working dogs. Period, stop, end of story. They're terrible at it. Their biddability does not work well in any of these situations. They can attack, but they won't release. They can be calm and lovely, and they've been known to turn on their owners when there is an unpredictable event like a seizure, even killing them. They're glutting the shelters, police have certainly tried using them, but their lack of loyalty (over half of people killed by pits are in the family) doesn't work, because they get excited by the violence itself and lack discernment, which is a huge issue. This "workforce" thing is like someone trying to say the chihuahua is lauded for it's great contributions on the job. Stop that crap. You can like them all you want, but that's totally ridiculous and no one but a Pit nut whose over the edge would try to swing that argument. Tried them as working dogs, they failed. Utterly.
This this this. Because they are NOT working dogs. They are nothing like Dobemans, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, etc
You do know that German Shephers job was to attack people? I'm thinking Civil Rights protest. Great job eh?
They can be called off. Pits can't, which is why they don't do that job. They're not smart enough to know the difference between taking someone down and mauling to death. But you knew that.
