Agreed. The US is the laughing stock of the world. We are supposed to be the land of "freedom" and the "pursuit of happiness" yet we allow crazies to buy assault weapons and gun down children in elementary schools (repeatedly). We are one of the few countries in the world that practices lockdown drills. Our children are traumatized. People are so fearful of each other that if you drive into the wrong driveway or knock on the wrong door you will be shot dead. All in the name of "second ammendment rights." Utterly ridiculous.
