Um, as many posters wrote above, the Swastika is a holy symbol for Hindus. I was just home in Bangalore, and it was everywhere - at temples, in my father's village, at his funeral, etc. I am happily married to an American Jew for the past 20 years. My mom's eldest brother, who just died at 88, was married to a Jewish woman for more than 50 years. Get over yourself and educate yourself about other cultures.
How does what you're saying apply to what happened to op? Who are you talking to? If a person uses a swastika as a hate symbol towards Jews, it doesn't symbolize Hindu holiness.
Seems to me the pp’s post is in response to the OP saying that Hindus should not use their symbol in any country other than India. The OP also seems ignorant to the fact that Hindus welcomed Jewish refugees and gave them a safe space to call home as Jewish people have lived in India for 2,000 years. Even though their numbers were small, they have thrived. Needless to say, this is some kind of ridiculous Hindu bashing because it’s obvious the person who placed the hooked cross over her door was her Arab neighbor in retaliation for her complaining about smoke. But all she can focus on is that Hindus still use this symbol. That’s clear from her title of this thread calling out Indians to respond so she can lecture them to only use their symbol in India.
