Idiocy.  Soldiers get at least a dozen different vaccinations in basic training, as well as additional vaccinations on deployment depending on the region, or as per routine schedule.  That's been the case for generations.  Ask your older relatives who served in Vietnam as an example.

Pretty much. My dh still has his military "vaccine passport" he got as a child of military personnel going overseas in the 1970s.

New recruits have all sorts of vaccines, and then sometimes have to get more when serving in certain areas.

Conservative antivaxxers are basically anti military.

And conservative politicians are destroying the military by taking apart public education and public health.

It was a lesson learned during WWII, and now it's been forgotten and will have to be learned again. One reason for all the "socialism" and "Great Society" programs was to produce men fit to be soldiers. [/quote]
