I haven’t watched it, but my kid goes to Bama and said the sororities quickly figured out what was going on and access was quickly denied to those who were attempting to infiltrate, etc. It was all over the parents Facebook groups which I saw in real time. My takeaway is whatever made it into the documentary wasn’t that much since they had no access.

FTR, I have a son who participated in the freshman rush preliminary activities (free parties, open house type events, etc.). He received bids but opted not to proceed (he realized the hazing and ridiculous schedules, errands, etc. wouldn’t be fun). Having said that, he attended tons of sorority social events (dated a lot of sorority girls) and is good friends with girls in the “best” sororities (whatever that means). He said their rush is over the top in terms of scheduled activities but the mean girl stuff is exaggerated. Most girls get bids. It’s a huge money maker. [/quote]
