And obviously it is getting worse - such that this is a new experience for so many. Staying indoors doesn't actually fix the problem. We're mourning that all we seem to have is, for now, the relative privilege to take a band-aid action for ourselves. But that doesn't fix anything. I lived in the Southwest for a few years, I've been through this before... in close proximity.
