Agree this is just about colleges in Boston, but if location didn't matter, WPI is above Northeastern, rankings aside. You'd pick WPI over Northeastern any day unless you are all in on the 5 year plan with internships. Babson and WPI are so completely different, you wouldn't be applying to both, so no sense in comparing. Babson is a business school, WPI's unofficial joke motto is "Friends don't let friends transfer to MIT."

You are totally wrong and delusional. 
WPI has 60% acceptance rate.
WPI is a good solid tech school, but people pick Northeastern any day of course.
Employers also pick Northeastern first
It's clearly a step below.
