I went to Harvard and my husband went to UPenn. Most black people who went to Ivies are not upset if our kids cannot go. Maybe a tiny minority. We have 3 children and while we won't pressure them to, we'd prefer they go to an HBCU. College is hard enough than to have to also deal with racism. We did it but we don't want them to have to do it. [/quote]

Same. And as you already know a lot of high stats black kids are choosing HBCUs for that reason and loving their college experience. And getting great jobs afterwards. [/quote]

HBCUs have received a lot of money lately and have attracted some great faculty talent.  I think they are going to lead a Renaissance. [/quote]
