So if your daughter is in middle school, you may remember when Wright transitioned away from letter grades in 3-5 to what is now the SBG report card?  Well, her first proposal was to not give grades at all.  When the parents pushed back on this, she threw her own teachers under the bus by claiming that this was THEIR idea and she was merely supporting them.  She took no accountability for her decision, and only after parent outrage did she agree to the SBG report card as a compromise.  She also was responsible for the adoption of the disastrous Lucy Calkins reading program, that has since been abandoned.

My children and I never had a personal issue with her.  She was always lovely to my children.  But it doesn't make up for the fact that she's a terrible principal.[/quote]
