Set it Off, The Nutty Professor, Menace II Society, Low Down Dirty Shame, Jason's Lyric, and she starred in the TV series A Different World.  These might not have been huge Hollywood blockbusters, but these are classics in the black community. Set it Off is one of my all-time favorite movies ever. [/quote]

That poster said they barely knew of any of her work except some small roles and I was simply responding that Jada has actually starred in some classic movies.  But overall she's been in tons of stuff and I'm surprised that's all the pp has heard of (or you if you're the pp). Girls Trip was a big movie for her and they are currently writing the sequel.
