I have a kid in McGill and she absolutely loves it! We bought a super Duper warm coat and all the gear so she is nice and cozy and is thriving. It's a very art focused community in Montreal and I don't think she's ever gonna leave. Even after graduation.

Long way of saying, if you got the right gear, cold, weather, doesn't bother you. I personally splurged in 2020 when we were all been Covid, safe and doing outdoor events,  land got a long Patagonia coat and have not looked back. I now fully understand how we're in the correct gear can protect you from the cold.[/quote]

McGill is a world class university located in a world class city. Easy to understand why cold weather would not be a deterrent to attending university in this gorgeous & exciting location. (How far is Quebec City from Montreal ? Googled it. 2 hours 45 minutes driving or 3 hours 10 minutes by train.)[/quote]
