DCPS will require in-boundary students to attend after the transition period. The OOB set asides are presumably for those “furthest from opportunity.” But if Hardy parents opt not to enroll the first year when they have a choice, yes, those spots will be quickly filled by w6 kids who didn’t get into Walls.
