Definitely possible she didn't, just like I don't think Warmbier took down the banner.    But that (getting falsely accused of crimes with little/no recourse) is a risk you take when you go to countries like N. Korea and Russia.   When you willingly do things you know have a huge risk, the US government should not make huge sacrifices to bail you out.[/quote]

I think it's entirely possible she did.  But so what?  If a Russian national was caught in possession of that quantity they WOULD NOT BE JAILED.  They would have had to appear and pay a fine.  This whole thing is trumped up and political and everyone, EVERYONE needs to be calling it out for what it is - callous and illegitimate gamesmanship by Russia and shaming Russia for it.[/quote]
