You know what we’re really, really great at in this country? Locking up sexual predators. It took a massive publicity campaign to reach the incredibly low bar of *testing rape kits* from rapes which had already been reported. A few states haven’t even started. Will it shock anyone to learn those states are also the ones passing restrictive abortion laws?[/quote] Wouldn't it be great if our lawmakers insisted on testing the backlog of rape kits, instead of penalizing women?
