No one needs to own a gun and the only reason people have them is to hurt or kill. People use cars to get to/from places they need to go (work, school, etc). Yes, unfortunately some people use cars in a negligent, homicidal way. But lots of people use cars in safe, practical, efficient ways. Every time someone uses a gun it is used to hurt or damage. There is no positive, or practical use of a gun. A car can be used as a weapon but it has other uses that are more common. A gun is only used as a weapon. Banning cars is not at all similar to banning guns. [/quote]
