Public school kids would likely have to finish around the top 10 percent of their class for a chance at admission to these selective colleges. My guess (as someone with no affiliation or knowledge about the school) is that NCS seniors don't need to finish anywhere near the top 10 percent and might not even need to finish in the top half to have a chance at admission to these same schools. Assuming all else is similar regarding test scores/ECs/other hooks.[/quote]
