Reached their numbers or over-enrolled?  My DD is going to WM and the Tribe Guide says that if they over-enroll, some kids won’t be offered a housing choice slot and will be put into any rooms that open up during summer melt (likely no roommate choice). [b]Kids who don’t get to choose housing will be the last kids to pay their deposit. [/b]

The problem with the way WM does it is they put your kid in any open bed. So, you might get an upperclassman for a roommate, not be in a freshman dorm, etc. [/quote]

That sucks!!! Unless you come off the WL in late July/August, they should really group you with other freshman.  I know from my older DC, it's hard enough for kids to be in a dorm of mixed freshman/soph (vs in an all freshman dorm---much better place for most kids), but I cannot imagine having a sophomore or older for a freshman roommate![/quote]
