I disagree. I'm married to a medium earner, I still work but my income is lower than his. I'm still financially dependent on him and can't afford to divorce. If I were married to someone super rich, I'd get enough in the divorce to live comfortably. [/quote]

+1 well said. I don't believe that UMC people have less issues in the marriages than poor. A lot of UMC SAHM worse fare is getting a divorce because they depend on their husbands. Also, honestly this is primarily white america is we're being honest.[/quote]

Data now shoes that most umc leave paycheck to paycheck so the money issues are there but different for both the poor and umc.

Many marriage issues involved money. It is one of the things that married couples fight about the most.
