We had to abort holiday travel due to an exposure at daycare (not to mention the 14 day quarantine that came with it for DC) and later this week will be our first attempt to travel again and see family since then. We should be able to treat covid like other illnesses now, getting rid of quarantines for close contacts.[/quote] Tell that to the local health departments still requiring lengthy quarantines for daycare exposure. DP. We just completed our 6th 10-day quarantine in the past 18 months, and neither of my kids have ever tested positive for covid. Quarantine was due to exposure to an asymptomatic caregiver.[/quote]
