Funny how we privilege books like the Bible, which is filled to the brim with gore and violence, rape and murder, and yet a blow job in a gender queer book gets parents panties in a bunch. I for one would like to see what other artistic merits the book provides or it is exclusively prurient in nature. Because that is the standard for obscenity, not whether it makes me “feel” uncomfortable due to my religious beliefs.[/quote]
