I seem to remember Republicans trying to make hay out of a Chinese spy targeting Rep Eric Swalwell. Swalwell immediately reported everything he knew to the FBI (unlike the Trumps who tried to carry on like nothing had happened), so I sense it’s not really about the safety of documents so much as Republicans don’t care about anything unless they think they make trouble for Democrats.[/quote]
