People should have been able to vote beyond a local situation for one year during a novel pandemic with no national leadership to guide.  Supporting people who think parental opt out is a good way to run public health is beyond stupid.[/quote]

Pretty sure he can still impose a mandate if public health warrants it.  I think if he had to, he would but it would apply to everyone and probably be accompanied by some more severe lock down emergency measures.  But, right now none of that is happening and yet several school boards has no intention of dropping masks. And whether the pro-maskers like to admit it or not, masks are helping and are impeding development.  And don’t say it isn’t because we don’t have a control for 18 months of masking kids.  If someone proposed such a study they would be called cruel and abusive. [/quote]
