Mid-tier LACs that give merit aid (many of these). We are in VA but the only state U that appeals to DD is W&M and that's nearly $40k in-state, the top of our budget. She's also applying to a variety of LACs that will all likely be less than W&M with merit. Also applying UMW as an in-state admissions and financial safety just in case.[/quote]
