She won’t answer this question ever.  She wants to retain her US citizenship so she can study/ live here easily.  If she admits to keeping US citizenship alongside Chinese citizenship then she is admitting to special treatment by the Chinese government and that won’t go well with the general public in China.  If she gives up her US citizenship then she has no escape from the CCP. She has chosen this path and has to live with herself.[/quote]
