For a lot of people it’s a contribution to the partnership, not a contribution to income, that matters. I never planned on being a stay at home mom but I wouldn’t have married somebody who didn’t have respect for them. However lots of men (and women) feel like you, and of course if resentments build up marriages can end. I’m not sure about “most” though. [/quote]
