He is not going to do that because he doesn't want to commit without seeing merit offer. He is well above the stat range and while is certainly isn't a safety, I don't believe that not changing status to EDII means a rejection. I guess will find out who is right in the next couple weeks. If he gets mid merit package, he might go and if he gets the $28K/year he likely will go. I think schools know that money matters and don't automatically reject if you don't ED.[/quote]
