Honestly, they should just skip the report cards for elementary if it's an issue.  The report cards we get just have general comments copied and pasted from every other kid's report card and the standards based grading doesn't provide any useful information as to what my kid is doing well or struggling with.  It's a waste of teachers' time.[/quote]

I'm the ES report card poster- I can completely see how it's different for HS with way more students and report cards that actually mean something for the kids.  So many of these school closure issues are just vastly different at the ES and HS levels.[/quote]
