Whichever poster this came from needs to understand the difference between communism and authoritarianism. The two are not the same, and the overlap is far from complete. China happens to be both, but there are a number of other countries that are one or the other, and many that are neither. As for the US, it has become more authoritarian over the years . . . and during times of national crisis that is usually not questioned. WWII? Post 9-11? But muh freedums seems uniquely claimed here . . . often by the same people who support wars and the reduction of civil liberties the rest of the time.[/quote]
