If you get an attorney involved, they will have to get an attorney and it will draw out the process and make it more confrontative.  The CPS worker cannot talk to OP and an attorney without a county attorney and possibly a supervisor involved.  OP just needs to talk to them, be honest, get the child cleared by the doctor and don't do it anymore.  [/quote]

This isn't years of abusing a child.  Be real.  Stop being dramatic about it.  Clearly CPS didn't see it as a high priority or they would have been out there by tonight.  No, I don't think she needs to speak to an attorney.  She should take her child to the doctor tomorrow morning to look at it and fix what every is ailing the child and talk to the worker and apologize and don't do it again.[/quote]

Reread the thread. She literally said she's been doing this for years to all her children. Ok, so if she takes her child to the doctor and the doctor agrees that this is child abuse, what next? She is causing deep, purple bruising on the child.[/quote]
