It doesn't matter in the end. TSJ is a miserably run organization. If there is a way to screw it up they will and then hide behind their money. Try getting your kid training there- IF they return your call and IF there are even enough kids to register, the training will suck
. The coaches are different from those running it. If it is not run well from the top, it can still have good coaches. But they will not all come at once though. Attracting coaches to TSJ in various sports will take a few years. Not all coaches will leave their presently coached kids or team to join a new facility. Next time a coach is looking though, then will consider it, if the commute works. Example: I have watched the swimming there: swimming lanes are FULL with any team that wants to pay the rental fees (our old team could not/did not want to pass the high fees onto parents two years ago). This year for the first time side by side to the rentor swim groups are swimmers with TSJ team logo on their caps with their own coaches. This will occur in all sports despite management managing loosely, if that is true. I have heard they have a young staff in the admin/sales areas and some online paying options not working. GROWING pains. “if you build it, they will come.” And I agree with a PP..there is plenty of money to float this thing for a few or more years....meanwhile they seem to building at different levels...back to the THread title, WS bought, HUGE college volleyball championships last month held there, the first INDOOR high school evening game was played there last year: TCWilliams/Alexandria City HS vs WSHS due to lighting issues at one of those schools. This spring, WSHS having their All NIght Grad Party. There are corporate meeting rooms on the third floor. A college water polo group coming in at 8:00am to use the pool after the Masters Swim group. Before COVID, tall basketball stars signing basketballs at a weekend camp. Buying a Pro Team part of the buying, while the investors are in the mood.
So how does this translate to youth soccer?
