It was very much a rich kid school and had a reputation.[/quote] Rich kid school means more connection, which is why WashU is superior to most of the T20 and the ivies in terms of better job and grad school placement. Still better than every public school. [/quote] Not even remotely true. WashU has terrible name recognition, virtually zero prestige, and has middling outcomes for grads. While i generally agree that top privates trump even top publics and would prefer to send my kids to a private if given the choice, WashU is not a great example in this. [/quote]
