Biden only cancelled debt related to borrow defense:  Under federal law, if your college or university [b]misled you or engaged in other misconduct,[/b] you may be eligible for borrower defense to student loan repayment. Additional cancellation was for borrowers who experienced permanent and total disability since student loans are dischargeable in bankruptcy.
