It is hard for those parents to get to the school on the weekends.  There are very few Chevy Chase families left at the school. Covid drove most of the ones who were public to private.

So the kids missing out aren’t necissarily affluent kids. Halloween parties were the biggest deal for CCES kids because it made the school feel cohesive even if for a day. Sad this happened but not shocked considering the Principal. Nothing gained and more lost for that community. [/quote]
