Less common, but still at least weekly, is a single "full blast" honk for someone merging into my lane without looking. There's a particular intersection near my house where two lanes both turn left, and it has marked lane lines throughout the turn, but mid-turn people will try to move from the outer lane to the inner one.

And then once every few weeks or so I really lay into the horn multiple times, coupled with a middle finger if necessary, because someone does something so stupid and risky that it makes me angry that they're risking me and my family.

I can't remember ever honking at a pedestrian or cyclist, FWIW. [/quote]
