It is common for people to marry other people from similar backgrounds/social classes. People don’t generally go into dating looking for someone rich but if they are on track to make good money, or their parents (or father) did, they are looking for someone that “fits in” with their social group. This often means similar attitudes around education, careers, and money. [/quote]
