That depends on exactly what happened. For all we know, that poster had an office crush on someone and decided not to act on it.

What I'm getting from this is you want to judge others but don't want anyone judging your choices. You don't know anything about SIl yet you have decided she did the wrong thing by telling her husband.  Simply because you haven't.
