I find religious belief to be a mystifying and sometimes fascinating quirk of human psychology & evolution. A bunch of people believe in a supernatural deity (or deities) without evidence. Why? I also find the debate about whether atheist govts, theistic govts etc killed more people to be academic. I think humans unfortunately have some persistent nasty qualities that don't depend on which cultural/religious lane they favor. [/quote]
