How have we got to a place where people don't want to interact with people who disagree with them about something.  Personally I want my kid's soccer coach to be a good soccer coach.  I'm not bothered what his opinions are on other topics.[/quote]

I have no idea what opinion was expressed - is that really the case here?

Certainly I see people getting crazily bent out of shape about all sorts of things these days - where as a society we would be far better off allowing disagreements to occur, attempting to understand and learn from the perspective of people with whom we disagree, and remaining friends in spite of that.[/quote]
