I do care. I hate this past year’s management. But I’d rather not drag my kid through another transition when we’re close to the finish line. You are holding a grudge at this point. It’s emotional. They aren’t going to be back this school year. You are harming yourself right now fighting that. [/quote]

You may make your own choices. I'm telling you that my kid has benefited enormously from returning even in the first 2 weeks, so you can't just write off a whole month.  It's not an emotional grudge - it's disgust and frustration at a system that literally gave up on kids.  And it's also tremendously arrogant of you to assume that just because your kid is doing ok, other kids wouldn't benefit.  And of course -- particularly with charters that have refused to open AT ALL, it's extremely naive to think that they are going to reopen normally in the fall without significant pressure. [/quote]
