But they are solely focused on underprivileged groups in the County. I wish there was a more balanced approach. Equity approaches are supposed to make everyone thrive. Not help one group do better at the expense of another. Private schools and their students' families have every right to work hard to meet needed health protocols that allow them to attend in person. And the County has every right to focus on helping marginalized families weather the COVID storm. Why does it have to be either/or in the minds of County leaders? [/quote]
