Ok. So the same way the dept of transportation isn’t going to pay a $1 mil to pave and maintain a random few blocks in ward 3 to make some bikers happy with another vanity trail, they are going to build a new school via school facilities in ward 2/3 for kids from other parts of the city to come to because they want a half decent education — ie families who vote for the mayor and aren’t going to be pulling their kids for private school by middle school anyway (including all the developers).

Fair enough. Sorry for being rude.

The mayor knows people in other parts of the city want to send their kids to a ward 2 or 3 school. And so many families in ward 2 or 3 (especially influential and rich ones) will pay for other options (and get sweetheart use of Public facilities like jellef). So building more schools in ward 2 and 3 is the plan. 
Can’t string a sentence but can win lobbying battles. Anyone planning to go to the fox hall meeting would be better off watching Netflix and chill. It’s a done deal, they are just checking a box but letting community members vent and yell at them for a while. [/quote][/quote]
