The reality is when you cut those extra 5 players at the back end of the roster (players 16-20), most won't just drop down and play for the B team. In an area like this, they leave the club (go to a lower level elite club) and never come back. You need the depth of 20 players in high school ages to survive injuries/conflicts, and if you want to be still be competitive, you carry them on the top team roster.[/quote]
